These oils are modified in such a way that they have become less yellowing.  All oils will eventually yellow and darken over time. It does not matter what sales people or others say, oils yellow eventually...period. Some oils such as stand oil will yellow much less but they do yellow regardless. It may take 10 or more years however. 

But well made paint does not yellow for a very long time.  The trick is to obscure the yellowing of the oil binder with enough beautiful pigment and at the same time have enough oil binder strength to hold it all together. It is a difficult balance, strength versus beauty. All I can say is that we should try and do our very best just in case (this is a long shot) our paintings make it into a national gallery!

 Well made paint will be discussed throughout this site but for starters we will need good paint oils.
